Celebrate Theory is a new series that supports the study of music theory at every stage of a student’s musical development. Encompassing rudiments, harmony & counterpoint, analysis, and music history, Celebrate Theory is an essential resource for enriching practical studies and developing well-rounded musicianship. Alignment with the Theory Syllabus, 2016 Edition ensures student success in preparing for examinations of The Royal Conservatory Certificate Program.

 

For students of all instruments, each book in this exciting series presents essential concepts through clear explanations, practical activities, written exercises, and exploration of repertoire. Each student’s musical journey is enriched through experiences with creative melody writing, composition, and music appreciation. Selections from The Royal Conservatory repertoire and etudes are included throughout the series to help theory concepts come alive and build a strong foundation for well-rounded musicianship.

Private Lessons

As the lesson time is only reserved for you or your child, there are NO REFUNDS or deductions for cancelled or missed lessons. However, lessons cancelled by parents will be made up provided that the teacher or the instructor receives a minimum of 48 hours’ notice and the cancellation is due to illness or similar good causes. If a make-up lesson cannot be scheduled at a mutually convenient time, a credit towards another lesson will be spread to the following month.

 

Please note, Tuition and fees for the first FOUR private lessons are non-refundable. A maximum of ONE lesson cancellation will be accepted per 10 classes. A second cancellation will get half credit and no credit provided after missing more than twice.

 

For withdraw, you should notice us before ONE month. We will apply your next FOUR classes fee.

 

Group Lessons

Students and parents must be responsible for their lessons. There are NO ANY REFUNDS if a student withdraws from a group class after it has started, as his/her place cannot be filled.

Please note, there are NO make-up lessons for Group Lessons.  School reserves the right to cancel any group classes that do not have sufficient enrolment. A full refund will be issued in that event. (Two students can continue with “semi-private” lessons).
