学校共同合伙人、高级课程顾问，作曲家，长号演奏家孙老师，1999年获得中国大陆第三位计算机交互式作曲专业的硕士学位。

1999年起在北京任国家双一流、211重点大学——中国传媒大学任教理论作曲、计算机交互式作曲等课程。2001年经国家教委、北京市教委和广电总局批准，正式创建 “电子音乐制作” 本科专业并在同年开始面向全国招生，同时创建了中国传媒大学电子音乐实验中心并担任主任，至今已有多届学生毕业。

多年来历任中国传媒大学电子音乐实验中心主任、中央音乐学院现代电子音乐中心客座教师、中国音乐家协会电子音乐学会高级理事、历届亚洲规模最大的“北京国际电子音乐节”及“中国电子音乐作曲大赛”评委、组织者；中国广播电视技术协会会员，加拿大SOCAN作曲家、剧作家与出版商协会、加拿大CEC电子音乐联合会会员、BC省BCRMTA音乐教师协会会员，美国AP Music考试委员会评审……其作品多次在国内首演，多次参与各类国际研讨会与校际交流……

孙老师具有30多年专业音乐学习经验，近20年的专业教学经验，国内已有多届的专业学生毕业，他们之中的很多人继续深造之后获得音乐专业的硕士、博士后留校任教；或是分布在国内各地以及欧美澳等地区从事专业音乐工作；或是在中国境内外各广播电视新闻机构如CCTV、中国国际广播电台、新华社、香港凤凰卫视、澳门澳亚卫视以及各传媒机构驻台湾、新加坡、新西兰、瑞士等地工作。

除了多年的教学经验之外，孙老师还有多年的舞台演出经验，过去的数年中曾走遍了整个中国的绝大多数省市自治区，和当今著名的艺术家如彭丽媛、张也、赵本山等人有过数次的合作，并为湖北、湖南、北京、甘肃、山西、福建、江浙等各省市电台电视台、各地歌剧舞剧院团签约制作了多首作品。

孙老师同时也是RCM Examinations注册教师，拥有RCM钢琴和理论最高级别授课资格认证，精通RCM钢琴及铜管乐器演奏考级体系、尤其是作曲技术理论方面各级考试的要求，精通包含RCM全部级别的乐理(Rudiments)、和声(Harmony)、对位(Counterpoint)、音乐分析(Music Analysis)、以及美国与世界各高校认可的AP Music Theory，英皇ABRSM等各项考试的要求、评分标准等等。

与此同时还教授程度要求更高的专业作曲课程，例如管弦乐队配器(Orchestration)、电子音乐制作(Electronic-Acoustic Music)…… 给这里的学生带来全新的、国内音乐院校专业级教学的体验，这种实力在大温地区的众多私立艺术学校中，独一无二。

Mr. Sun, a co-partner of the Sun Music School, senior course consultant, composer, and trombonist, obtained a master's degree in computerize composition in 1999, the third person in mainland China.

Since 1999, he has taught courses such as theoretical composition and computer interactive composition at the Communication University of China, a national double first-class and 211 key university in Beijing. In 2001, with the approval of the State Education Commission, Beijing Municipal Education Commission and the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, the undergraduate major of "Electronic Music Production" was officially established and began to recruit students nationwide in the same year. At the same time, he established the Electronic Music Experimental Center of Communication University of China and served as the director. So far, many students have graduated.

Over the years, he has served as the director of the Electronic Music Experimental Center of Communication University of China, a visiting teacher of the Modern Electronic Music Center of the Central Conservatory of Music, a senior director of the Electronic Music Society of the Chinese Musicians Association, and a judge and organizer of the "Beijing International Electronic Music Festival" and the "China Electronic Music Composition Competition", the largest in Asia. He is a member of the China Radio and Television Technology Association, a member of the Canadian SOCAN Composers, Playwrights and Publishers Association, a member of the Canadian CEC Electronic Music Federation, a member of the British Columbia BCRMTA Music Teachers Association, and a judge of the American AP Music Examination Committee... His works have been premiered in China many times, and he has participated in various international seminars and inter-school exchanges many times...

Mr. Sun has more than 30 years of professional music learning experience and nearly 20 years of professional teaching experience. Many professional students have graduated in China. Many of them have continued their studies and obtained master's and postdoctoral degrees in music and stayed in school to teach; some are engaged in professional music work in various parts of China and Europe, America and Australia; some are working in various radio and television news organizations in China and abroad, such as CCTV, China Radio International, Xinhua News Agency, Hong Kong Phoenix TV, Macau Asia TV and various media organizations in Taiwan, Singapore, New Zealand, Switzerland and other places.

In addition to many years of teaching experience, Teacher Sun also has many years of stage performance experience. In the past few years, he has traveled to most provinces, cities and autonomous regions throughout China, and has cooperated with famous artists such as Peng Liyuan, Zhang Ye, Zhao Benshan and others several times. He has also signed contracts to produce many works for radio and television stations in various provinces and cities such as Hubei, Hunan, Beijing, Gansu, Shanxi, Fujian, Jiangsu and Zhejiang, and local opera and dance troupes.

Sun is also a registered teacher of RCM Examinations as Advanced Specialists rate in all subjects . He is proficient in the RCM piano and brass instrument performance examination system, especially the requirements of various levels of examinations in composition technology theory. He is proficient in all levels of RCM music theory (Rudiments), harmony (Harmony), counterpoint (Counterpoint), music analysis (Music Analysis), as well as AP Music Theory recognized by universities in the United States and the world, ABRSM and other examination requirements, scoring standards, etc.

At the same time, he also teaches more demanding professional composition courses, such as orchestral orchestration (Orchestration), electronic music production (Electronic-Acoustic Music)... Bringing a brand new, domestic music school professional teaching experience to the students here. This strength is unique among many private art schools in the Greater Vancouver area.
